Khao Khad Tower – is located in the east of Phuket. It is the only viewpoints with 360-degree overview on the island. Here you will not be bothered by noisy crowds because not many people know about this magnificent place. 

Phuket Aquarium – is situated in the south-east coast and it is undoubtedly worth to see. The distinguishing characteristic of this aquarium is a massive glass tunnel above. So you are able to see floating stingrays, turtles, snappers, sea-horses, groupers, wrasses, sharks, cow-fish, lion-fish and many other ones.

Phuket Zoo – is the only zoo on the island, it’s quite cozy and compact. There are many things to see and to do here. For example, you can observe a mini-aquarium, a collection of birds, monkeys, and watch elephants, monkey and crocodiles shows. We feel pretty sure you and you children will enjoy spending time here.

Butterfly Garden and Insect World – presents about 40 species of butterflies, scorpions, spiders and termites. This garden is an awesome place where everyone can look at each phase of butterfly’s growing from eggs and larvas to marvelous adulthood. Visitors turn to be in a wonderful words of floating butterflies, they can even feed these creations from their fingers.

Thai Boxing – there are dozens of thai boxing camps and several stadiums in Phuket. Thai boxing is called “Muay Thai” and it embodies passion and fair. If you would like to be a spectator of a great show, then you’d better go to Patong Muay Thai Stadium. To be honest, It’s impossible to depict this national kind of sports in a few lines, because thai boxing is an ancient art with very deep and complicated meaning. Anyway, at first you must see it.

Waterfalls – there are a couple of National Parks in Phuket where you can find many beautiful waterfalls. We will give you just one of many possible examples. It is an astonishing waterfall Bang Pae. It is located in the Gibbon Rehabilitation Center in the north of Phuket. You can visit this center for free, but if you go further you must pay 200 THB/person for the entrance to the waterfall, the fee is not expensive but it is a “must-see” thing in Phuket.
