2. Work visa (Non-B)

3. Retirement Visa

Another type of visa that allows you to stay in the country for an unlimited amount of time is a retirement visa, but in order to obtain this visa, you must comply with a number of simple conditions.

  • Age 50+
  • Having any non-immigrant visa at the time of submission.
  • 800,000 Baht in a Thai bank account or recurring income, at least 65,000 Baht per month.

Obtaining a retirement visa for one family member allows a spouse, children, or grandchildren to follow this visa. Also, this type of visa obliges you to check in every 90 days at the immigration office at your place of residence.

4. Study visa (student visa)

In the period before the virus, this type of visa was issued to anyone who wanted to study in Thailand, school, university, or language courses. Language courses were especially popular.

But now the situation has changed, and only students of international schools and universities can obtain a student visa. When receiving a student visa, the parents are attached to the child's visa.

After receiving each of these visas, you must obtain a certificate of entry to Thailand, pass a negative test at least 72 hours before departure. And have a hotel room quarantined.
