Ready for Phuket holidays! New entry rules from July 1.
Phuket opens its doors to vaccinated tourists on July 1. What does this mean? What do you need to know before you travel and what to do if you do not have a vaccine?
Option 1 (if you don't have a vaccine):
In this case, the trip is possible only after 14 days of quarantine. You arrive at a direct flight to Phuket and quarantine in a special hotel, after which you can safely move around the island.
What do you need to enter?
- negative test result 72 hours before departure
- insurance, with a minimum coverage of $ 100,000 USD
- ALQ hotel reservation, where you will be quarantined
- COE entry certificate, which is easy to issue online
Also, during quarantine, you will be taken several tests.
Option 2 (if you are vaccinated):
Under this program, people from countries with low and medium morbidity can come to Phuket. This list will be published shortly and will be updated every 2 weeks.
The vaccine must be approved by the WHO or the Thai Ministry of Health (an updated list has not yet been published). It is necessary to be vaccinated completely and not less than 14 days before the trip.
What do you need to enter?
- Book the SHA + hotel for 14 nights, the list can be found on the official website https://www.thailandsha.com/. You can safely move around Phuket, but you should only live in these hotels.
* If your trip is less than 14 days (7 or 10 days), then you also book SHA + for the duration of the trip and will only depart from Phuket Airport.
- insurance, with a minimum coverage of $100,000 USD

- register on the website https://www.entrythailand.go.th/, preferably before arriving in Thailand.
* Children under 6 years of age are not vaccinated.
Upon arrival at Phuket airport:
- demonstrate all the documents you have
- taking a test for COVID-19
- arrive at the SHA + hotel by SHA + transport
- After receiving the test results, you can leave the hotel room
- You also take PCR tests on the 6th and 13th day of your stay in Phuket
